What is a Sparkline?
Sparklines are small, simple charts that are typically embedded within text, tables, or alongside the data they represent. They are designed to provide a quick and concise visual summary of trends or variations in data, without the need for axes or coordinates. Their primary purpose is to offer immediate insight into a dataset's performance, such as stock prices over time, temperature fluctuations, or sales figures, making complex information easily digestible at a glance.
We use them on this site as most of the time, so you can compare how a particular statistic compares to itself over time, and larger flows don't overshadow potentially important flows of other things. (for example 5 BTCs appearing in your wallet is way more interesting than $500USDC)
